πŸ›‘οΈ Reverse DNS (PTR Records)

If you have a VPS or dedicated server and need reverse DNS configured:

  1. Log in to the Webhosting24 Console
  2. Go to your VPS or Server and click on the management panel, from there select the reverse DNS option (rDNS):: IP Management β†’ Reverse DNS
  3. Set the desired hostname (must resolve via forward DNS)
  4. Allow up to 30 minutes for propagation

πŸ“Œ Note: For /29 or larger subnets, you may request delegation.

🌍 IPv6 Configuration

IPv6 is fully supported on all our networks. Here’s a basic example for static configuration:

Example:

Address: 2a0c:8fc0:<WXYZ>::1/48
Gateway: 2a0c:8fc0:<WXYZ>::fffe
Interface: eth0

Replace <WXYZ> with your assigned subnet.
