Why can't I order a Wildcard certificate with Extended Validation (EV)?  Wydrukuj ten artykuł

The Extended Validation SSL (EV) certificates respond to a higher security profile compared to "normal" SSL certificates (Domain Validated - DV) and the old ones, moreover they have higher guarantee coverage. In order to ensure that SSL EV certificates are not issued fraudulently or abused after the issue, the regulatory body "CA/B Forum" governing the release of SSL EV certificates has decided to request validation by the Certificate Authority (CA) of the legitimacy of each individual web address for which an SSL EV certificate is issued.

Therefore the issuing of Wildcard EV certificates of the type "*.webhosting24.com" is not allowed. However, multiple SSL EV certificates can be purchased by combining these into a single final certificate (EV UCC / SAN / Multidomain). Contact us for further information.
